Review: Influenster #MamaVoxBox (TOXiD-LOTUS.NET)

So this was my first box from Influenster. It was really nice to be able to try some new products. I’ll be reviewing an Annie’s White Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese, Pond’s Luminous Finish BB in Light and Medium, and the yummy belVita breakfast bar. Let’s get started lovelies!

belVita Soft Baked Mixed Berry Breakfast Bar – OMG This was delicious. It’s really hard for me to find a snack or breakfast bar that I like. They’re usually too sweet or too hard or too something. These however are soft, chewy, moist and delicious. It wasn’t overly sweet at all and was easy for my poor mouth to chew. I wish they had more flavors though. They have the Mixed Berry and Oats and Chocolate. I not liking chocolate much have not tried the latter of the flavors. So I will savor my yummy Mixed Berry bars and hope that some day they add some more flavors. These are definitely worth a try.

Ingredients: Whole grain blend (rolled oats, rye flakes), enriched flour (wheat flour, reduced iron, niacin, thiamin mononitrate (vitamin b1), riboflavin (vitamin b2), folic acid), canola oil, invert sugar, inulin, sugar, raisin paste, glycerin, dried cranberries, cornstarch, dried blueberries, baking soda, soy lecithin, salt, dried raspberries, natural flavor, grape juice concentrate, ferric orthophosphate (iron), niacinamide, blueberry juice concentrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin b6), riboflavin (vitamin b2), thiamin mononitrate (vitamin b1). Contains: wheat, soy. Manufactured on equipment that processes peanut, tree nuts. VEGAN

Annie’s White Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese – This was an interesting try. When you first open the cup you see the cheese packet and dry noodles covered in dust. To cook it you have to add water to the fill line inside the cup and microwave it for 2 minutes on high. What you pull out of the microwave is slightly creepy. The noodles are cooked and sitting in a cup of goo. Think of it as aloe vera gel only more jelly like and thick. Then you stir the sauce packet into the goo and let it sit for a couple of minutes. I have to say I did not enjoy this particular macaroni & cheese. The texture of the goo was something I couldn’t handle and it had an odd flavor. It didn’t taste like macaroni & cheese and was rather bland. I was hoping it would be yummy, but sadly it wasn’t.

Ingredients: Organic Wheat Macaroni (Organic Wheat Flour), Tapioca Starch, Cheddar Cheese (Cultured Pasteurized Milk, Salt, Non-Animal Enzymes), Corn Starch, Nonfat Dry Milk, Organic Coconut Oil, Whey, Butter, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Cultured Whole Milk, Sunflower Lecithin, Sodium Phosphate, Silicon Dioxide For Anticaking. Contains milk, wheat, and coconut ingredients. Made on shared equipment that also processes egg and soy. NOT VEGAN

Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream Light & Medium – I was really excited to try this since I currently use an asian bb cream and love it. Sadly this product didn’t work for me. Both shades were extremely dark on me. The bb creams felt thick on my skin, like I had a mask on. It just didn’t *feel* like a bb cream to me. It was more of a thick tinted moisturizer. The smell is fresh and not overpowering like some other bb creams can be. Unfortunately I’ll be sticking to my asian bb creams this time.

Water , Cyclopentasiloxane , Dimethicone Crosspolymer , Titanium Dioxide , Glycerin , Niacinamide , Potassium Chloride , PEG 10 Dimethicone , Dicaprylyl Carbonate , Allantoin , Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract , Tocopherol , Bisabolol , Cholesterol , Tocopheryl Acetate , Magnesium Sulfate , Disteardimonium Hectorite , Stearic Acid , Fragrance , DMDM Hydantoin , Sucrose Distearate , Alumina , Disodium EDTA , Dimethicone , Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate , Iron OxidesCI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499.

Overall I really enjoyed trying all of the products. I still have another item to review and will be getting that up soon! I hope this was somewhat helpful.
