Heck yeah, glittery eyeliner! :D

Hi all! (: Hope you’re all having a lovely Thursday! I’m really stoked that Luna invited me to guest post, so here I am with my very first guest post ever! I’m Mieke and I usually post looks and tutorials on my makeup blog called Miekeup (: I really wanted to do a tutorial today too! But I’ve been way too busy lately and couldn’t find the time to put one together, so I just made a simple look with some of my favorite indie products

This was just a really simple look with some sparkly eyeliner thanks to the magic of Darling Girl’s Superstar Serum! I love that stuff, it’s a medium that you can use to easily turn your loose eyeshadows really vibrant and vivid and it’s also meant for making your own eyeliner shades out of your loose shadows. And it’s really easy to use, which just makes it even better!

Here’s a quick picture of what I used for the eyeliner! I used Glamour Doll Eyes‘ amazingly gorgeous Celestial Crow with Superstar Serum. Don’t forget to make sure you have a little container to mix it in, along with a brush to apply it. It helps a lot to use a little spatula to scoop out the eyeshadow, in my opinion, because I’m one heck of a clumsy human person thing and I’m terribly good at dropping things! So the spatula helps a lot to minimize the damage done to my collection of pretties, haha.

Superstar Serum comes in this really cute little dropper bottle and it has instructions on the little baggie it comes with. All you have to do is mix a little bit of loose shadow with a drop of the serum and BAM IT’S EYELINER. And you get to feel ultra fancy because you almost-sort-of-kinda DIY’d it and that makes it a little more unique and fun (:

A better view without glasses! I chose more subtle eyeshadow shades than I usually have because I thought the Celestial Crow liner was already pretty enough to stand out well on its own and I just wanted to complement it a little. I really like how it turned out! (:

I paired it with a pretty warm blush, DreamWorld Hermetica‘s Piper which is pretty fantastic and insanely pigmented so yes, you do need it in your life too! For my lipstick, I have on Burlesque from My Beauty Addiction, a new addition to my growing indie lipstick collection thanks to my super awesome r/IMAM exchange partner! It’s a really pretty bright fuschia color that goes on really smoothly and opaque.

A close-up! (: The eyeshadows I used were Wink and Positively Peachy from DGC, some of my favorite warm and coral-pinkish colors that are really easy to wear. I tend to grab them a lot when I want a really quick and simple look and yes, yes, yes, you neeeeeed them too if you don’t already have them…
