Altered Bottles

It's my goal to have a few things for sale in my Etsy shop for the holidays. So I've been working on a few things that have been rattling around in my head for a while now. I figure if I make what I like someone else may like it too, or at least I hope so. Inspired by the beautiful altered bottles that I've seen around I tried my hand at a few.

I had these really pretty rain glass bottles that I thought would be pretty altered. This is how they looked naked.

I printed images onto a transparent paper in sepia and glued them to the fronts of the bottles.

To this one I added a crystal knob as a stopper and added a tiny vintage beaded earring on top of the knob, then I tied vintage seam binding in a silvery brown around the top and added a little rhinestone chain and a cross to the top of the image.

I added lace and a blingy button to this one and a crystal knob with a pearl, rhinestone chain and a tiny crystal. Rhinestone chain embellishment was added in a v shape to the bottom of the lace. Vintage crinkled seam binding in cream was tied around the top.

This is two different images put together, first I printed the French script, then the image of Mary was cut out and layered over it. I added a cross to the crystal topper and a little rhinestone chain and tied it with vintage silvery brown seam binding.

I'll have more to share soon. Thanks for looking. I'll be joining these ladies this week,
