Fall Scarves: Fashion + Function

Sometime during the course of last week the temperature went from crisp to COLD! So, I've taken this as my cue to let the layering begin! For the past couple of years I've been looking for the perfect plaid scarf and we finally crossed paths this week at the Nordstrom Rack opening night shopping event in Madison!
This cozy plaid infinity scarf from Betsey Johnson has been my go-to all weekend. If you've been following me on instagram, you can see that this weekend has been full of all things fall-y: apple picking, pumpkins & lots of coffee. This is always my favorite time of year in the Midwest!

I love a patterned scarf, but a cozy cable knit is equally as chic. Slipping one on over your outfit makes it feel instantly polished and cozy which is all I really want in the Fall! If you live somewhere warm (like where I grew up in FL) you might want to opt for a lighterweight cotton or linen scarf!
