2014#3 – The boucle dress – O vestido de bouclé

Description: Loose fit dress with square neckline, short raglan sleeves with bias flounce, bias hem band and in-seam pockets. Pattern: BurdaStyle 02/2014 model 112; cut size 40 based on my bust measure, but I think I would have gotten away with the 38 because the dress is so loose fitting.

Descrição: Vestido de corte amplo e decote quadrado, mangas raglã curtas com folho em viés, bainha com banda larga em viés e bolsos metidos na costura.
Molde: BurdaStyle 02/2014 modelo 112. Cortei o tamanho 40 baseando-me na minha medida de peito, mas acho que teria conseguido usar o 38, uma vez que o vestido é realmente bastante solto.

Alterations: I shortened the dress by approximately one and a half inch.

As you can see, the wrong side of the fabric is brushed; the fabric is very soft on the wrong side.

Como podem ver, o avesso do tecido tem um acabamento escovado, o que torna o tecido muito macio por dentro.

Conclusion: If I were to make this dress again, I’d cut size 38 instead of 40; the dress is fine, however it feels too large, so I chose to wear it belted. I can picture a spring version of this dress made up with a lighter weight fabric, so I might tackle this pattern again. Thank you for reading! --- Conclusão: Se fizer este vestido de novo, vou cortar o tamanho 38,… Embora goste do vestido como ficou, acho que é realmente bastante largo, principalmente na anca, daí ter escolhido usá-lo com um cinto. Consigo facilmente imaginar uma versão mais primaveril deste vestido usando um tecido mais leve, por isso talvez use este molde novamente. Obrigada pela vossa visita a este cantinho, fiquem bem!
