SHORT HAIR, LONG DAYDREAMS

Marloes Horst for Vogue Australia.
I'm feeling very discombobulated lately.
Which is equivalent to I'm coveting short hair.
Regardless my winning 'never have I ever had short hair' line while playing the infamous drinking game, I want to make the plunge and get rid of some inches.
Those who say: "long hair is much cooler", are so right. I mean, you can have fun with it, let it down, twist it, mousse it (okay, not too much with the moussing), do up-dos, let it get tangled and knotted thanks to the wind, spend hours blow drying it, find it back in your food (yummie), get it caught in your zippers every single time...
FUN!
So back to the not-so-sudden appearance of my crazy idea, and the incredibly sound argument that any woman with things to do on her agenda can't spend her entire life with her hair down. That's just not possible.
I'm thinking about cutting the long bob. Unfortunately I've never found a beautiful example of it gone right with a blonde. So I already wanted to store it back in my box filled with unrealized ideas. Until the picture above showed up in my life. This photo of Marloes Horst on the cover of Vogue Australia is so awesome I'm thinking about tattooing it all over my body just in case...
The thing that I'm wondering though is whether or not you have this kind of hair in real life?
Or am I swimming too deeply in the deep-end of some fashion pool to realize that a long bob like that is just going to make me look like a new member of Hanson in 1997?
If that’s the case, I’m begging you, please tell me. Just write mmmbop and I’ll understand.
