RECIPE: LAST DAYS OF SUMMER SMOOTHIE WITH WATERMELON



My friend and I have declared America as the most paradoxical country when it comes to lifestyles. Size zeros who survive on cold pressed juices and vegan diets walk next to McDonald junkies who have no leg extended for ages. How is it possible that these two opposite lifestyles are living side by side?
During our road trip, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world if I had my apple a day and could eat a salad for dinner. The daily quest for healthy food was probably the hardest of our travel. After giving up and surrendering to junk food, my body is craving healthy food since I'm back home.
Since watermelon and strawberries are my all-time favorite fruits during the summertime and known as two bona fide super foods. I knew that they would make a perfect combination for a summer smoothie.
It is quick, easy, deliciously fruity and best of all: super refreshing!
In a blender, mix the following for a big serving: 3 to 4 strawberries 1 apple 2 or 3 slices of watermelon 3 mint leaves water
