My City Chic Boyfriend Jeans

Hey Loves,
This post will serve as a double whammy. 1st to review these amazing boyfriend jeans sent to me by the great people over at City Chic. And as a "Splurge vs. Save" Campaign sponsored by Credit Card Insider. The point of that is to pick an designer item that I love but obviously can't afford, but was able to find something similar for a cheaper price. When I thought about it, these Shoedazzle shoes came to mind.
I put this look together when I was on my way to the city (yet again lol) for a little Spring Fling event with Bella PR. I wanted something on trend, cute and casual.

But lets talk about the jeans first. City Chic has always been good to me and you all know I'm making some kind of effort to actually wear pants. These boyfriend jeans I thought would be absolutely perfect. I like the fit of them through my "hips" and thighs. But I find that they are a but low rise so you should probably size up in these to get a good fit.

As for the shoes, you all know these are one of my FAVORITE pairs of shoes to wear. They are a decent dupe to the Valentino Rockstud slingback pumps that were every where a few months ago. Well still every where actually. They typically run about $1075, and my pockets most definitely are not about that life. But I got these beauties from Shoedazzle for $39. Talk about winning!

This top is one of my favorites as well. It's from 5Preview a brand from Switzerland. I you've seen me wear many things from them before. And I will be wearing a lot more pieces from them going forward.
