In the hot, westerly wind last summer, two souls eloped… and it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever been a part of.

Beforehand Sarah & David’s celebrant, Zenith, pulled them gently aside and said – kiss if you feel like kissing, hold hands if you feel like holding hands and cry if you feel like crying. Her wish to them was to be in the moment with each other. To feel what was right. To soak it all up.

This simple sentiment blew me away… and made me wish that more couples could experience such a private, intimate and simplified ceremony.

Seeing them both there, deeply connected and wrapped in each other’s presence, was so joyous for me. I could see them walking on air in the sunshine all afternoon.
