Strawberry Shoes Forever

I like scented things.

I once bought a bacon-scented air freshener…it smelled like a chew toy.

It wasn’t the best decision I’ve ever made or one of the best ones.

I recently read a little tidbit about Kandals‘ scented shoe and was intrigued.

I’m going to share with you something very embarrassing, but very common…

My shoes get stinky. There, I said it.

I think we all own at least one pair of stinky flats.

They aren’t made anymore or have a lot of memories or whatever–they’re our favorite pair.

I’ve tried a bunch of tricks: baking soda, soap, scented shoe things, etc. They haven’t worked! So I was delighted to find out that Kandals shoes have an everlasting strawberry scent (or so they claim). They’ve only been around since June 2012, so there’s no telling how long that scent really lasts.

The only qualm I have about these shoes is that they’re very basic and kinda orthopedic looking.

I like that they claim it’s like a fresh shoe every time since the scent is subtle, but…I don’t know.

They’d probably look cute paired with cuffed jeans and a bright scarf, though.

Would you buy them?
