Spring, warm air, the sun--it's all here! The memo hasn't reached my ghostly pale legs yet but it's knocking on this dress' door. Aside from being the most adorable dress in the world, it's the perfect spring color. And why yes, another headband! I'm gonna call it early: headbands (and backwards head like worn today) will be my spring/summer thing. Plus, it keeps my hair not a crazy mess in the wind! Win-win in my book.

I definitely wouldn't say I have a green thumb, or even have a general knack for gardening--but I absolutely love having plants in the house. We've managed to keep a fig tree alive and well for about four years now, and last summer I took the plunge & added an orchid plant into the mix. It has to be one of my favorite flowers! I kept in the guest bedroom for a while before moving it into our office. And last week, Chris killed it. Accidental or not!--we made a trip to Lowe's and left with not only an orchid, but a few new plants to brighten up our home!

Have you guys seen A Beautiful Mess' DIY hanging planters?--I'm obsessed with the idea. It's on my to-do list once we get into the new house!
