Halloween 2013!

Last year the kids were too little to grasp anything about Halloween, some would argue they were still too young this year to grasp it, but I think they learned quite fast. This year I was so excited to get them all dressed up, I had their costumes planned all year. We only went to a couple of family and friends' homes, but the kids had a blast. It wasnt until that evening after they had only eaten a small sucker and a few sweet tarts that I learned what a true sugar high was! They were both running and jumping off of everything, it was craziness. I had Jared snap a few photos before and during our Halloween night, I am so happy we could capture some fun memories!
Introducing our handsome Luke Skywalker and beautiful Princess Leia
He loved playing with his lightsaber, even if it was bigger than his whole body.
He was just so happy I couldn't not choose this picture to share, it melts my heart.
Abigail just wanted to run free, I thought this picture was perfect, she is always on the move, even if it means she trips and falls.
They both didn't grasp that we stay outside, they wanted to go inside and play.
But the second they saw candy they were stuck in their tracks.
Abigail loved grabbing big handfuls, putting them in her bowl and then filling Liam's for him and then taking his bowl.
Liam was happy to just have one piece of candy.
Abigail was seriously a hoot, trying to take a ton of candy, putting it back and trying to grab some more.
By the time we got to our second house they were anxiously waiting for someone to open the door
They were up to speed on what to do from there on out!
Liam couldn't wait to sample his candy...
Getting them to hold onto their bags was the hardest thing to teach them...they wanted to just run to the door and go inside.
They loved going to "mamas" house, they of course wanted to go play with toys though.
Even though they didn't grasp the idea of dressing up it was fun to see them get excited about getting candy. I love these babies so much, so grateful to share this holiday with them. Can't wait to see what they will want to be next year!
