When the weekend comes, I don’t have time to plan out outfits. I have created a weekend uniform: jeans, a knit top, and a topper. It’s easy to choose sweater coats and cardigans in the fall, but a stretchy jacket like this ponte number from NYDJ is just as comfortable but more refined. This is the type of piece that can work for the office with trousers as well as dress down with a tee shirt for the weekend. With a lot of stretch that can help me chase after a kindergartener on the playground, and a big cup of caffeine to give me energy to go all day, I’m ready for any given Saturday or Sunday!
