Dining Room Decor

As promised, I will continue to take you along in the decorating of our new home and the soon-to-come addition. First up: our dining room. Our dining room decor is what I like to describe as simple, modern and rustic. The hubby and I have the similar “less is more” taste when it comes to home decor. This truly shows in our dining room decor more than any other room in our home. We snagged this dining table and chairs when we were living in San Francisco last year and I am still in absolute love with it. To play off the rustic design of the set, I found this fabulous cow hide rug and faux skins to drape over the chairs. One of my favorite accessories, this white deer head, is displayed all by its lonesome to give it the focus it deserves. The bar cart (so fun to have) sits nicely in the corner and the new modern lights from West Elm complete the ambiance. With lights like these the light bulbs are on full display, so I was sure to get pretty edison bulbs.
