word up #89: AGLOW

what a gorgeous word AGLOW is. i made an art journal entry and used a quote from Hellen Keller.

what a gorgeous quote, and oh so true.

for this art journal entry, i used paper, acrylic paint, acryl stamps, ink, fabrick, sequins, enimal dots, glitter glue, gelato's and oil pastels. oh and some white felt for the small hearts.

i missed playing in my art journal. sometimes life just takes over. and lately i do work too much. but it's all for a good cause. in a few days my new Supervisor will start, and after that i'm planning to take it a bit slower. like working 60 hours a week is a bit crazy, no? even for me :P. i do need to play more. and need to remind myself to keep going for the important stuff.

today "Sinterklaas" arrives in our village and i'm soaking it all up. it might be the last year Ruben still 'believes'. maybe another year, but then the whole spirit, the secret buyin gifts stuff, is all over. we'll be moving on to another eara with the kids. which is totally fine too.

life is good. let's work less, and play more.
