Butter London ~ Black Knight

As soon as I opened my prize, I knew I just had to swatch Black Knight. Like, immediately.

The formula was very easy to work with, particularly for a glitter polish like this. The base is a pigmented black jelly, and I needed no more than two, well behaved coats for an opaque finish.

I used one layer of top coat, and in hindsight I would say that two is better. The polish is quite thirsty, and I didn’t obtain the smooth, glassy surface I prefer.

Excuse the lobster paws, I’m really struggling with light at the moment, and I was too lazy to set up my light box. There, I said it. Now excuse me while I go sit on the sofa and eat tangerines. What’s that? Shhhh. I’m busy.
