Day Three: Cozumel, Mexico

Day three we docked in Cozumel, Mexico for the afternoon and evening. This was my first time in Mexico, so you can pretty much guess I was excited. Sensing a trend? Yes, this highlight was full of excitement! Since the ship didn't get to Mexico until the afternoon, we spent the morning taking advantage of the many onboard amenities. One being the miniature golf course!

Unfortunately, out of all the guys, I played the worst game! I standby the fact that I was distracted by the line of land coming into sight and that I could finally, legitimately call out "Land Ho!".

Once on land, we fought our way through the crowds of boisterous salesmen, each with a better deal then the last, until we found one that actually had an office to call it's home and rented scooters for the day. There really was only one main road that went the entire way around, so the one main road it was, and we were off.

We made our way to this great little restaurant on the beach, far away from town. It was a place the guy we rented from recommended. I was pretty sure he was in cahoots with the restaurant owner when I saw the price of margaritas...$10! SERIOUSLY, we were in Mexico!! Wasn't it a law or something that margaritas were cheaper then water? Guess not! (And no, they didn't change the price for the gringos, that was the menu price!!) But despite the over priced beverages, the vibe was something we were more than thrilled about!

Poor Mike was missing his sweet Molly! Oh and Mom, since I know you will be reading this, allow me to introduce you to our friends... Starting on the left, Kyle, who is married to my good friend Annicka, Nate, Stephen and Seth, who are all single and ready to mingle, Mike, married to Molly, myself and Dustin!

And to our surprise, we ran into some other cruise go-ers out by the beach! They were hosting, along with their beautiful wives, the superbowl party onboard since they actually played in the superbowl with the Bronchos!

Then back on the boat for another evening of tasty food and good music! ♥, mK
