Black Basics
Living in New York has taught me a plethora of things, but on the sartorial front, I’ve figured out that my wardrobe can fully-function around a few black basics. A great pair of black jeans, a few pairs of black pumps (New York literally consumes shoes), a black tailored blazer, a black vest, a fabulous black handbag, and a pair of chic black sunnies. I mean, really… Do you need anything else? While we’re on the topic of vests, I hope you’re a vest kind of girl because I have a feeling I’m going to be wearing this one all season long. And then in the summer, too. And probably in the fall. It’s that good. And its under $30!
As for another closet staple, these black suede, pointed-toe, d’orsay pumps are perfect for city dwellers. They have a pretty low heel so walking around all day isn’t a problem at all! I absolute;y love the pointed toe and the interior cut-out, too.
