National Watermelon Day

So apparently today is National Watermelon Day and since I am all about dressing for the occasion, I decided to dawn my new favorite watermelon-printed crop top. Now I love celebrating food as much as the next girl, but since when did every day of the year suddenly become a National "something" Day?? Like the other week there was National Ice Cream Day, and in June we had National Donut Day. I looked up my birth date out of curiosity, and it's apparently National Cashew Day. Really?? CASHEWS. I totally lucked out on that one, y'all. Where is National "stay home and watch Netflix then take a nap" Day? I think that's a holiday we can all get on board with.
