Liz Earle Men's Everyday Skincare Offer

Today's blog post comes to you from my good friend Alex, who really wanted to share with you this amazing offer from Liz Earle for men. I don't often feature male products on here but we're going into a season where it's really hard to find gifts for that man in your life whether it be your partner, your brother, your dad or your best friend I thought I should share a few really good gift ideas for men. It might even be a gift to yourself, I know I have a few male readers out there too.
I'll leave you in the capable hands of Alex to share with you his thoughts, let me know if you want to hear more from him on male skincare and grooming.
I had my eye on the Liz Earle package for quite some time and like every other man who hates shaving and the irritation it causes; I decided to give these products a go. Whether you’re looking for a new skincare routine or to find a gift idea for Christmas, I really think the Liz Earle Men's Everyday Skincare kit has it all, inclusive of a Cleanse & Polish for men, complimentary hot cloth cleansing cloth, Sensitive Shave Cream, After Shave Moisturiser and Face & Body Wash - all full size too. It's my new essential must have for achieving natural, healthy results for a better, clearer complexion.

CLEANSE & POLISH FOR MEN
If you’re prone to irritation and sensitivity then Liz Earle’s Cleanse and Polish is definitely a product I would recommend. The essential oils in this product have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help to soothe irritated, blemished skin whilst the muslin cloth gently exfoliates the skin to remove dead skin cells and bacteria. The Cleanse and Polish is practical and easy to use, and the pump is designed so that there is no product wastage. If you’re late for work or short of time, applying the product in the shower will not only save you time but will also soften the hairs to make shaving easier. Personally, I found that this product combined with the muslin cloth left my skin feeling soft and hydrated and has improved the appearance of my skin.
SENSITIVE SHAVE CREAM
Spending most of my life using shave gels and foams, I found Liz Earle’s Sensitive Shave Cream to be a refreshing change to my shaving routine. The first thing I noticed about this product is the freshness that it leaves on your skin. Eucalytpus and Clary sage in this product help to ease razor burn and irritation from razors and protect the skin. Adding a little bit of water, the shave cream doubles in size and can be easily applied to the skin and washes off easily with no sticky residue. I will say however, that for those like myself who are prone to irritation on the neck should apply more to the cream to the neckline for extra protection.

AFTER-SHAVING MOISTURISER
After just one use, I must admit that Liz Earle’s After Shaving Moisturizer has got to be one of my favourite moisturizers. Combined with borage and vitamin E, these two ingredients help to calm and soothe the skin whilst providing anti-oxidants to protect from oxidative damage that occurs throughout the day. You only need to use a tiny amount to cover the entire face and definitely worth investing if you’re looking for a long lasting and hydrating moisturizer. Fitting easily in the palm of your hand, this moisturizer is portable and easy to use, meaning that you can use it throughout the day if you feel your skin becoming dry and tired.

FACE & BODY WASH
This product is an added bonus to this brilliant package and is packed with Aloe Vera, Patchouli, Bergamot and Vetiver which are used to calm red and inflamed skin. Unlike other body washes I’ve ever used, Liz Earle uses Aloe Vera, a healing agent that works to soothe and itchy and inflamed skin. The body wash did leave my skin feeling clean but personally I found the scent to be too earthy and was not too my taste. I would also be a bit wary as to using this product on my face, as ingredients such as ‘Sodium Benozate’ are used for the body and putting this on your face might overwork your skin.

Face & Body Wash, Shave Cream, Moisturiser, Hot Cloth Cleanser
Here are some swatches of the formulas if anyone is interested in seeing them.
Something else that I really like about this package is how easy Liz Earle make it to use, it's ideal for a skincare novice or a skin care pro. There's two cards included in the kit that give you step-by-step instructions on how to shave and how to use the hot cloth cleanser properly. This was so useful for me and will be useful for anyone not sure what to do with the products, which will make sure they don't end up at the back of your bathroom cabinet unused.
Retailing at 40 pounds for the entire package, it was definitely a good investment for the amount you get.
Liz Earle Men's Everyday Skincare is on offer for £40 exclusively to the Liz Earle website.
