Tower Hill – Scrapbooking with SBW October Kit 2013

Hello my lovely Ladies and a happy German Unity Day to my German followers! How has your week been so far?! Mine was really busy! October is the month with the most birthdays and this implies a month with the most need of birthday cards (no, you won’t see any cards here today). I also sat down and did a bunch of layouts so the next couple of months are covered and you are going to see at least two layouts a week. There are also the usual The Studio Challenges, a Blog Hop ‘Herbstzauber’ this Sunday (with a quick video tutorial!), a Step-by-Step tutorial at Scrapbook Werkstatt in November and another Blog-Hop with the lovely Jennifer in the same week! So I got lots to plan and I only got some this week and the weekend left! Phew. Keeps me busy!

I’ll be quick today then with my layout.

Before I started running on a regular basis I just did the odd bit of walking around our village. The tour I documented on my scrapbooking layout below I did only once; I was presented a very nice sunset, but that was about it. Nothing else. Just a (boring) straight walk up and afterwards down again.

This layout was made with the papers from the new October Kit from Scrapook Werkstatt, find it HERE. Nearly everything was taken out of the kit: the paper, the alphabets, the little stickers, the frames. I punched out the butterflies from scraps I had left over from this kit and found two older butterflies by Pebbles to add to the collection. I also added some rhinestones and enamel dots as well as the black splatters.

Hey – es ist schon Donnerstag! Die Woche ist fast vorbei (und ich realisiere gerade, dass meine Deutschen Leser sogar einen Feiertag haben! *neid*) und ich war ziemlich beschäftigt in dieser Woche. October ist immer der Monat mit den meisten Geburtstagen, also musste ich einen Vormittag “opfern”, um einen Stapel Karten zu scrappen. Zusätzlich dazu hielt ich eine kleine Präsentation zum Thema “Scrapbooking” in unserem local Craft Club am Dienstag Abend. Ein kleines Video Tutorial gibt es am Sonntag zum Blog Hop der Scrapbook Werkstatt zu sehen. Außerdem habe ich Layouts gescrappt, um die nachste zwei Monate füllen zu können, da ich ab kommenden Montag viel weniger Zeit zum Scrappen haben werde (mehr dazu ein anderes mal). The Studio Challenges sind natürlich auch eingeplant (dazu sollte ich Zeit haben), ein Step-by-Step Tutorial für die SBW geht im November online und noch ein Blog Hop mit der lieben Jennifer steht an. Jep, das nennt sich busy! Nebenbei habe ich noch einen Mann mit Man Flu zu versorgen! Möchte jemand tauschen?

Also, heute nur ein schnelles Layout, das ich mit dem October Kit der Scrapook Werkstatt, gescrappt habe, das Kit gibts HIER. Ich habe so ziemlich alles aus dem Kit verwendet, außer die zwei Schmetterlinge (die sind von Pebbles und antique!), die Rhinestones und die Enamel Dots und die schwarzen Splatter (mit Studio Calico Mister Huey’s Color Mist).
