A touch of androgynous | Outfits

I bought this pair of pants some years ago, and I don’t even remember if I ever wore them outside the house. It was obvious from the moment I wore them that this style was definitely not me, as it was not flattering to my figure/body type, but I bought them anyway, because a) I loved this style and b) the sales woman was too pushy and persuasive. They stayed unworn for years, and they were on the “to sale” pile, until recently, when I thought I’d give them another chance by pairing them with feminine pieces and bringing them closer to my style. I didn’t dislike them as much as the last time, but I still think that the androgynous style is suitable for tall and thin figures, so, not for me. However, I’m going through an experimenting phase again, and I really wanted to try something different. I don’t think they’ll make an appearance on the blog again anytime soon, but they’ll probably stay in my closet for a little longer. What do you think?

Αγόρασα αυτό το παντελόνι πριν από αρκετά χρόνια, και δεν θυμάμαι καν, αν το φόρεσα ποτέ εκτός σπιτιού. Ήταν εμφανές από την πρώτη στιγμή που το φόρεσα ότι αυτό το στυλ δεν ήταν «εγώ», και δεν κολάκευε το σωματότυπό μου, αλλά το αγόρασα έτσι κι αλλιώς, γιατί α) μου άρεσε πάρα πολύ το στυλ του, και β) η πωλήτρια εκτός από αρκετά πιεστική ήταν και πολύ πειστική. Έμεινε όμως αφόρετο στην ντουλάπα μου για χρόνια, και ήταν στην στήλη «προς πώληση», μέχρι πρόσφατα που αποφάσισα να του δώσω άλλη μια ευκαιρία, συνδυάζοντας το με πιο θηλυκά κομμάτια για να το φέρω πιο κοντά στο στυλ μου. Δεν το αντιπάθησα όσο την προηγούμενη φορά που το φόρεσα, αλλά ακόμα πιστεύω ότι το ανδρόγυνο στυλ είναι κατάλληλο μόνο για ψηλές και λεπτές φιγούρες, οπότε σίγουρα όχι για μένα. Παρόλα αυτά περνάω πρόσφατα και πάλι μια περίοδο πειραματισμού με το στυλ μου, και ήθελα πολύ να δοκιμάσω κάτι διαφορετικό. Δεν νομίζω να κάνουν ξανά εμφάνιση σύντομα, αλλά πιθανότατα θα μείνουν για λίγο ακόμα καιρό στην ντουλάπα μου. Εσείς τι πιστεύετε;
