90’s b*tch | Outfits

This post is dedicated to one of 90’s biggest trends that is having a comeback: mules! Love them, or hate them, they’re back again, and we’ve seen them on the feet of every blogger and non-blogger out there. But it wasn’t until I started re-watching old episodes of Sex & the City, and I saw those beautiful red mules on Carrie’s feet, that I felt reminiscent. And like this, I decided to give my old pair of mules a chance to shine again. Oh how much I loved mules when I was a teenager. This is actually my first pair of mules right back from the 90’s. I never thought I’d wear them again. I kept them mostly for sentimental reasons, but here they are again! I actually owned many pairs in different colors and they’re all handmade, and even some of them custom-made. I tried to make the look more current with skinny jeans and my lunch bag.

Αυτή η ανάρτηση είναι αφιερωμένη σε μια από τις μεγαλύτερες τάσεις της δεκαετίας του ’90: τα mules. Είτε τα αγαπάτε, είτε τα μισείτε, τα mules είναι και πάλι εδώ και τα βλέπουμε στα πόδια κάθε fashion blogger (και μη). Αλλά αυτό που πραγματικά με έκανε νοσταλγική προς τα 90’s και τη συγκεκριμένη τάση ήταν τα επεισόδια του Sex & the City, που αποφάσισα να ξαναδώ πρόσφατα (αυτά τα κόκκινα mules στα πόδια της Carrie είναι τέλεια!). Κάπως έτσι αποφάσισα να δώσω σ’ένα παλιό μου ζευγάρι mules την ευκαιρία να λάμψουν και πάλι. Μου άρεζαν απίστευτα όταν ήμουν έφηβη. Τα συγκεκριμένα έρχονται απευθείας απ’τα 90’s και είναι το πρώτο ζευγάρι mules που αγόρασα ποτέ. Δεν φαντάστηκα ποτέ ότι θα τα ξαναφορέσω, απλά τα κράτησα στην ντουλάπα μου για συναισθηματικούς λόγους, αλλά να τα και πάλι! Μάλιστα δεν είναι το μόνο ζευγάρι που είχα στην συλλογή μου καθώς έχω αρκετά ακόμη χειροποίητα και κάποια από αυτά ειδική παραγγελία. Προσπάθησα να κάνω το look, πιο σύγχρονο φορώντας τα με skinny jeans και τη lunch bag μου.
