Ingredients:

1 oz. jojoba oil
2 oz. pumpkin seed oil
.5 oz. shea butter
.25 oz. cocoa butter
.75 oz. stearic acid
1 oz. glycerin
.15 oz. Pleasingly Pumpkin fragrance oil
6 oz. white sugar

Instructions:

Using a digital scale weigh out the shea butter, cocoa butter and stearic acid. Heat at reduced power in a large Pyrex measuring cup or in a double boiler until the ingredients have melted.

Now weigh out the jojoba and pumpkin seed oil and stir into the melted butters and wax. Allow to cool. You can hasten this process by placing the ingredients in the fridge.

Once the homemade pumpkin sugar scrub ingredients have slightly solidified, weigh out and stir in the glycerin and fragrance oil.

Now slowly add the the 6 oz. of sugar by weight, mixing with the hand mixer as you go.

Package in an airtight plastic or glass jar. (The final product fills just over an 8 oz. container.)

Note that this homemade pumpkin sugar scrub recipe is intensely moisturizing. If it’s too much for your skin’s needs, simply omit the glycerin or try substituting it with aloe vera gel!
