Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons

7 Layer Flag Dip for 4th of July!

We came up with this fun 7 Layer Flag Dip today & it's SO easy to make! We are sure this would be a huge hit at any 4th of July party.
7 Layer Flag Dip
1 Can of Refried Beans 1 Packet of Taco Seasoning 1 8 oz of Sour Cream 1 8 oz of Cream Cheese 2 Cups of Shredded Cheese 1 Bag of Shredded Lettuce Black Olives 1 Jar of Salsa 1 Large Tomato (chopped) Blue Chips (we like the ones from World Market) 1 Slice of Provolone Cheese

Start out by mixing the can of refried beans with taco seasoning & spread in a 9x13 glass pan. Top with the jar of salsa. Then we topped with olives....

Top the olives with a bag of shredded lettuce. Then top with the shredded cheese...

Mix together the sour cream & cream cheese. Then spread on a square on the top left corner. Crush the blue chips & sprinkle them on the sour cream. It's okay for some of the chips to get on the cheese because you will cover it up....

Spoon the sour cream mixture in a baggie & snip off the corner. Squeeze on 6 lines...then fill with the chopped tomatoes...

Cut out small circles from a slice of provolone cheese & place then on top of the crushed blue chips. We used a small icing tip to cut ours out. We love how this turned out & will definitely be making this to bring to our next July 4th party!
