The Very Hungry Caterpillar Fruit Snack AND Contest!

The World of Eric Carle recently contacted us to help promote their Very Hungry Caterpillar Contest & we are very excited to be a part of it! My boys have always loved all of their books!
This year they are celebrating their 45th anniversary of Eric Carle's most famous book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

We created this fun snack for them to help celebrate & you can enter their contest by creating a Very Hungry Caterpillar inspired snack of your own (see details below)!
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Fruit Snack (makes 2)
1 Golden Delicious Apple 1 Green Pear 1 Granny Smith Apple 2 Kiwis 1 Strawberry 6 Raisins
Start out by slicing each piece of fruit using a knife. Then cut the ends to fit & match up. Line them up on a plate. Place on the strawberry for the head. We cut a small piece from a apple to make the eyes & antennas (break a toothpick in half to attach). We used a mini chocolate chip for the nose. We cut the raisins in half & pressed them together for feet...so easy & cute.
We used different fruits to give different textures & color. Plus...this is a great way to get your little ones to try new foods!:)
