Det er farverne og materialerne der former boligen lige nu. Og de varme og bløde farver, materialer og tekstiler stormer frem. Mens vi søger lige og grafiske linjer i elektronikken drages vi mod tekstiler i smukke og grafiske mønstre. Mange spår den folkloristiske stil en stor fremgang, jeg er dog ikke helt med på kelimbølgen længere, men drømmer stadig om et lækkert vævet tæppe. Og det er her Linie Design kommer ind i billedet. It is the colours and materials that shape our homes right now. And the warm and soft colours, materials and fabrics are making the headlines these days. While we seek straight and graphic lines in our electronics, we are drawn to the fabrics in beautiful and graphic patterns. Many predict the folkloric style a great success; I’m not quite with the loving the whole kilim trend any more, but still dream of a beautiful woven rug.
