Dustyn’s Sleep Apnea

If you all follow me on instagram you all know Dustyn had a sleep study back in July. He was doing a lot of loud snoring and I started noticing quite a few pauses in breathing at night. We received the results in August saying he had pretty moderate to severe sleep apnea. He was having 10 episodes an hour where he would stop breathing or his breathing would get really shallow. The sleep doctor sent us to an ENT surgeon and he confirmed that Dustyn’s tonsils were HUGE. He suggested we remove his tonsils and adenoids. The surgeon thinks once these are removed it should cure his sleep apnea.

Dustyn goes in today for his tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. I am quite nervous about the whole thing. I know it is a pretty regular surgery, but still very nerve wracking. We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers that everything will go smooth and that he will heal quickly.
