Hong Kong 2013 Purchase ~ Valentino Rockstuds

Evening Blog Reader......well winter is really on its way....daylight saving is over and today was rather cold. But despite the weather, I was determined to wear my new Valentino kitten heel rockstuds to dinner last night with Artist Stanley Palmer (more on that in a later post). Ooooooh Blog Reader....these babies are stunning. So pretty and actually really comfortable.... I actually walked a far distance in them and kept up with the others who were walking at a fair pace!
I have to tell you Blog Reader...I've wanted a pair of these for a very long time now, but was very hesitant to buy them online without trying them on first. I'm actually really glad I waited as I would have probably bought the flat version as opposed to the kitten heels....and that would have definitely been a mistake as the straps on the flats was just too much for my short legs! The kitten heel gives it just that extra height!

The service was great at the IFC Valentino store and there is nothing like walking out with that lovely Red bag!

The navy blue patent with nude trim and gold studs is a really lovely combination....another reason I'm glad for not buying online as I would have never bought a navy pair of heels let alone a patent pair...and the practical side of me would have gone for black....

I paired them with my favourite Cue dress and Phillip Lim clutch...the colours all blended so well together. I felt a million $$$ and got lots of lovely comments.

Saturday's outfit: Cue dress, 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch, Valentino Rockstuds, World belt, Hermes and Chan Luu bangles.
