Crochet Corner Update

This is a little bit more of a news bulletin than a blog post I'm afraid, but I thought you'd like to know that there's some new things on Crochet Corner for you to have a look at.

You can click on any of the links to fly off and check out the tutorial...
Just a small thing, but I've added a few notes about how I use the term 'Joining' Slip Stitches in my patterns and tutorials to the Stitch Directory.

USA term: Joining Slip Stitch (jss)

I've also updated the Techniques page to include how to work round with a spiral, always useful to know and hopefully for handy for anyone keen on getting started with amigurumi.

I've also added a few more tutorials to the Basic Patterns page. Hopefully these basic shapes will be a handy reference for all crocheters, old or new!

Solid Circle
A very useful shape for all sorts of projects

Solid Hexagon

And last, but not at all least, I'm pleased to say that I've been able to add some helpful links to outside pages that have translated versions of my tutorials.

So you can now find a French version of the Grannie Hearts by Katty at Sur Le Blog de Mes Loisirs...

a German translation for the African Flower Pincushionby Jessica Nitsch of NadelSpielLust und MamaGlück...

the Rosie Posie Grannie Square in Danish by Mette Jakobsen of Sommerfuglen...

and even
a video guide, using US terms by Emmy Lu for the Clamshell stitch pattern!

All these translations were provided by kind Cherry Heart readers, so thank you very much to each of them.

I hope you'll find something you like!
