Bedankt voor alle leuke reacties die ik heb gehad op de bobble stitch infinity scarf! Zoals beloofd zou ik het patroon met jullie delen en bij deze! Misschien goed om te weten: deze sjaal maak je dus echt in een mum van tijd: een paar avondjes en je hebt hem af. Een beter excuus om wat nieuws te haken, is er toch niet?

Maybe good to know: you'll be able to finish this in no time at all, it will probably take you a few nights and then you infinity scarf will be finished! Is there a better excuse to grab your hook?
Bobble stitch infinity scarf tutorial
Wat heb je nodig:7 Bollen Scheepjeswol Stonewashed XL lichtgrijs (kleurcode 854)
1 Bol Scheepjeswol Stonewashed XL felblauw (kleurcode 855) voor de randen, je kunt ook elke rand een ander kleurtje geven, in dat geval heb je twee verschillende kleuren nodig.

What do you need?
7 Balls of Scheepjeswol Stonewashed XL light grey (colour 854)
1 Ball of Scheepjeswol Stonewashed XL bright blue (colur 855) for the edges, if you're feeling adventurous you could do each edge in a different colour, in that case you need 1 ball of each colour.
Stitch markers
Crochet hook 5 mm

Om te beginnen:
Zet een meervoud van 3 op. Ik zette voor deze sjaal 231 steken op. Dit zorgt voor een sjaal van zo'n 1.50 meter breed en deze kun je 2 keer omslaan.
Het opzetten van zo veel steken is best een beetje lastig, daarom markeer ik elke 50ste steek met een steekmarkeerder. Maar elke tien steken kan natuurlijk ook. Maar net wat je zelf prettig vind.
Met een halve vaste maak je de laatste aan de eerste losse vast. Zorg er echter voor dat de lange ketting niet is gedraaid als je hem vastmaakt.
To start:
Chain a multiple of 3. For this infinity scarf I chaines 231, this will turn into a scarf of 1.5 meter and you can wrap it around twice.
Chaining this many stitches can be quite tricky, I mean... you don't want start allover everytime you lose count. So that's why I placed a stitch marker in every 50th stitch, but you can also place one in every 10th or 20th stitch, whatever works for you.
Slipstich to make a BIG circle, but make sure you don't twist your long chain.
Eerste tour:
Je begint nu met de bobbelsteek. Dit zijn drie stokjes samen gehaakt:
Haak 3 losse (telt als één stokje), sla de draad om de naald (zoals je doet als je een stokje maakt), steek de naald door de volgende steek, sla de draad om de naald en haal op (drie lussen op je naald), sla de draad weer om de naald, zoals bij een stokje, steek de naald in de volgende steek, sla de draad om je naald en haal op (4 lussen op je naald), sla de draad nog éénmaal om je naald en haal door alle vier de lussen. Haak een losse. Je hebt nu een bobbelsteek gemaakt!
Ala de draad om de naald (zoals je doet als je een stokje maakt), steek de naald door de volgende steek, sla de draad om de naald en haal op (drie lussen op je naald), sla de draad weer om de naald, zoals bij een stokje, steek de naald in de volgende steek, sla de draad om je naald en haal op (4 lussen op je naald), sla de draad nog éénmaal om je naald en haal door alle vier de lussen. Haak een losse.
Herhaal de bobbelsteken totdat je rond bent en maak de laatste aan de eerste bobbelsteek vast met een halve vaste.

Wrap yarn around hook and slip through the first 2 stitches (2 loops on hook), repeat this in the next two stitches (4 loops on hook). Wrap yarn around hook and pull through all 4 loops, ch1.
Wrap yarn around your hook, insert your hook in the next stitch, wrap yarn around hook and pull through stitch (3 loops on hook). Make bobble stitches untill the end of the round, sc into the first bobble to close the round.

Second round:
Slip stitch to start in the gap between the first two bobble stitches of the first round.
Chain 3 (counts as one DC) and crochet these together with the next 2 DC, chain 1. Chain 3 DC's together and chain 1 (bobble stitch). Keep repeating the bobble stitches for the rest of the round.
De randen:
Hecht grijs af. Hecht felblauw aan op dezelfde plaats. Haak 1 losse en haak nu vasten rondom. Maak met een halve vaste de laatste vaste aan de eerste vast.
Als laatste maak je een rand met de kreeftsteek. Ik vind dit een van de leukste steken om een kledingstuk, zoals een sjaal of muts mee te eindigen! Deze steek is lekker hobbelig en wollig, superwinters. De kreeftsteek wordt ook wel de omgekeerde vaste genoemd, omdat je deze van achter naar voor maarkt en niet met de klok mee, maar tegen de klok in. Snap je het nog? Ik leg het hieronder met foto's uit, maar
deze video laat ook goed zien hoe het werkt. Hecht af als je helemaal rond bent.
Hecht blauw aan, aan de andere rand van je sjaal. Haak eerst weer een tour vasten en dan een tour kreeftsteken.
Hecht af, werk al je losse eindje weg met je maasnaald... en je bobble stitch cirkelsjaal is af!
De rand is misschien een beetje bobbelig, dan heb je soms met de kreeftsteek. Maar dat kun je oplossen door je werk op te spannen. Hier zie je hoe je je haakwerk het beste kunt opspannen.

Fasten off the grey and cast on the blue on the exact same place. Chain one and crochet a round of SC's all around.
As a last round you do a round of crab stitches. Now I find the crab stitch one of the most fun ánd pretty crochet stitches of all. It's so chunky and woolly, I just love it. The crab stitch is also called the reverse SC and I guess that's true: you work from back to front and not clockwise but anti-clockwise. Are you following? I'll try showing you in the pics underneath, but this video also shows the stitch perfectly.
Fasten off after you've finished the round.
Now cast on the blue on the other edge of the scarf. First do a round of SC's, followed by a round of crab stitches. Fasten off, weave in all your ends... and the booble stitch infinity scarf is finished!
You may find your edges a little bobbly after you finish. Don't worry, the crab stitch does that sometimes. But wet blocking your work will fix all of it. Here you can see how to wet block your crochet.
