My week in photos #10
... and a Give away winner!
Deze week:
- Ging ik verder met de Scheepjeswol CAL. Voor het eerst haakte ik in 3D, dat had ik nog niet eerder gedaan en ik was er dan ook van overtuigd dat ik er niets van zou bakken. Maar dat viel reuze mee. De eerste keer was het een beetje klooien met die bloemblaadjes, maar daarna had ik het patroon zelfs niet meer nodig. Fijn!
- De kleurtjes voor volgende week zijn ook alweer uitgekozen... en deze gaan in de koffer, want...
- Ik vertrek morgen naar Londen! Eek! Nu is dit zeker niet de eerste keer dat ik naar Londen ga, maar toch vind ik het spannend. Ik ga morgen namelijk met de Eurostar naar Londen. Dus van Utrecht naar Londen met de trein. Dat heb ik nog nooit gedaan, dus ik ben ontzettend benieuwd.
- Genoeg leesvoer over Londen dacht ik zo. Ik had nog een hoop reisboekjes over Londen liggen, maar Londen in Stijl is nieuw. Hierin staan allemaal leuke hotspots in hippe en de wat onbekendere wijken van Londen. Een spekkie naar mijn bekkie dus. Dat wordt ontdekken geblazen.
- Deze week heb ik ook voor het eerste 2 apps gepubliceerd. Dat vond ik toch wel een gevalletje 'jeetje'. Het zijn apps voor de CreateTrips app, die je gratis op je iPhone of iPad kunt downloaden. Als je de app dan eenmaal hebt, is er een enorme keuze aan leuke reisgidsjes in app-vorm die je ook offline kunt gebruiken. Wel zo handig. Het mooie is dat alle reisgidsjes die je vindt geschreven zijn door echte reisexperts (ja, dus ook ik, whoah!) en je écht originele tips kunt verwachten. Ik lanceerde apps over Thessaloniki en Brussel.
- En de winnaar van de Give Away is... Cristina!! De leuke cadeautjes gaan dus naar Catalonië, hoera!
Thise week I:
- Continued working on the Scheepjeswol CAL. It was actually the first time I crocheted in 3D. That was really a first for me and I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to do it. But again, I really surprised myself and did it! It was a little fidgety at first to work around the petals, but after the first square I didn't need the pattern anymore.
- Have my colours ready for next week. These will go in my suitcase, because...
- Am leaving for London, tomorrow! Eek! Why so giddy, you ask? As this definately isn't the first time I've been in London. However, this is the first time I'll go there by train, traveling by Eurostar. So from Utrecht to Londen by train. I'm quite excited.
- So, I dug up my travel books about London. I already had two laying around and decided to get London in Style, which looks fantastic. It has all these wonderful hotspots and hidde gems in hip and happening neighborhoods. I can't wait to go exploring.
- Launched two apps, for the first time. I thought that was a rather big deal actually! I have written them in English and made the apps for Create Trips which is available for iPhone and iPad. This is a travel app that you can download for free and will give you access to original travel guides written by experts (ha, I'm an expert... giggle). The fun thing is that these travel guides contain really original tips, hotpsots and walks. So off the beaten path you go! I've written an app about Thessaloniki and Brussels.
