Isabel Marant pour H&M

So during my little European adventure earlier this year, I got to go to Paris for 8 hours, and no, that wasn’t a layover. I was limited to the short notice option of taking a coach through the chunnel (which is weirdly frightening and exciting at the same time) and though it took me 10 hours to get there, and 12 hours to go back, those measly 8 hours were totally worth it. I’d totally go through the whole thing again just because I really enjoyed Paris that much. I fell in love with my croissant and coffee on an early (early) Saturday morning, the radially sprawling capitol, and rapeseed fields in the countryside on the way back to my aunt’s. And lets not forget, I have an affinity for French girls with blunt bangs for some reason and I don’t know why.

Anyway, when I found out Isabel Marant was the next H&M collaborator, I was so excited. Now you may not necessarily equate my personal style with her effortless boho look, but based on her prior collections, I knew the H&M pieces could easily be integrated into my wardrobe. I love the masculine cut of the coats, the textured wool cardigans, and the piece I’m totally going to skip class to go to Boston for: the black leather trousers.

The collection will be available in stores and online on November 14th. Which pieces are you looking forward to?
