Isabel Marant pour H&M – Out Today!

Boy, has it been a long past couple of weeks for me. I’m the type of person who usually maintains a sunny disposition on everything, not at all in an “ignorance is bliss” perspective but more in the manner of, well, lots of things (you never know if your smile can change someone’s day, it’s not worth being upset when you might as well spend the time being happy, projecting love reciprocates love, etc, etc). I’ve been pretty bummed out lately and I’ve sadly been filling the void with online shopping (hahaha, retail therapy is such a thing in my book) but I’m working back to feeling like myself.

H&M generously sent over this scarf from the Isabel Marant pour H&M line that comes out today! My plans were to skip my morning class and head to Boston to get in on the action but my school schedule is seriously winning in our constant love/hate battle. Anyway, if you know me, you know that I absolutely am not into wearing scarfs…I feel like they just get in the way! Haha. So I found a way to wear this scarf as not a scarf and I must say, I’m in love with my new cape, hehe. It’s super high quality and keeps me warm even as not a scarf!

The collection boasts so many well-tailored, quality pieces at a great price point. I recently read somewhere that Isabel wasn’t sure she wanted to do the collab, and didn’t know what she wanted to do, but when the ideas came to her she realized it was a way to thank her fans for loving her. So sweet. Prime example of projecting love, and then getting it back in return. Her love of her craft gets her love from people like us, and then our love gets awesome affordable collabs! Haha.
