State of the Union

Casually art directing my bedroom. Like the strategically planned red?

So, as promised, here’s a little update on the going-ons in my life:

1. I’m looking for a job.
2. I’ve been working on the bedroom of my dreams.
3. I need a job in order to finish the bedroom of my dreams.
4. I have amorphously possessed two cats.
5. Curly hair has made a temporary return. (Curly or straight, it’s 1000x better up here!)
6. Blog redesign is finally happening. It’s kinda a slow process…everything needs to feel right.

8. Drawing feels 100% good for the first time in almost 10 years. Surreal.

There’s some more but a lot of personal things are obviously building up. I think one thing that astounds me is that I’m here, in my own apartment, with things that I purchased myself, and have assembled everything I need to function on a basic level. Like, I have enough oatmeal to last me weeks. I’m never running out haha. I’ve lived here in Prov on my own before, and even in another country having had no friends and starting from scratch, but this is different since it’s all me. Things are certainly going to get a little tough financially but I think for now, I’m in the happiest, most perfect state I’ve ever been in. Regardless of imminent struggle.
