London – ticking off the famous spots

By the time we reached London, I think we were kind of done with being tourists. Mostly, I just wanted to find great places to eat and drink and relax. But looking back on these pictures, I’m so glad we made the effort to get out and see a few of the sights. Sometimes, you only really appreciate the things you’ve seen and done when you’re back at home, in the daily grind. Having memories like these are a great reminder not to take what you did for granted, and some extra motivation to stay on the grind so you can experience more. We met up with our mate James Jeffery - ( remember him ? ) and he gave us the quick visitors tour, so we could tick off Buckingham Palace, the London Eye & Big Ben. We also went to Harrods, and got immediately distracted in the food hall and spent most of our time drooling over the numerous cabinets full of decadent chocolate truffles. I may have spent close to 30 pounds on luxury truffles, and I have no regrets. I was too busy salivating over the chocolate to take pictures, sometimes you have to just live in the moment, ya know?
