I GUESS I’M TRYING TINDER?

i’ve always been hesitant about online dating. i’ve always just pictured meeting and it being very awkward. but SO many people i know have been on tinder or okcupid and actually have gone on somewhat normal dates. (mixed with some pretty hilarious encounters as well) so i figured, hey why not at leeeeeast sign up and see what it’s all about, right? i’m single, i should try new things.

i must admit it’s pretty entertaining to sit on tinder with your friends and swipe left left left with commentary. and sometimes you even swipe RIGHT which is very exciting. (for those of you that don’t know, that means you think they are hot or cool or whatever.)

for the most part, it’s a lot of guys who send you creepy messages (although i did get one that said “is your name google, because you have everything i’m searchin for” which i thought was pretty funny.) a few dudes that take pictures with selfie sticks, try to act too cool in their profile, and do NOT know how to take a profile pic.

but who knows, maybe there’s hope? have you had any luck on it? i’d love to hear about it!
