UPDATED What’s In My Bag? + Organization

Thank you to U by Kotex for Sponsoring this post!

I absolutely adore watching “what’s in my bag” videos on YouTube. I don’t know why, but I find them completely fascinating! Do you? I picked up a few things at the Kate Spade Outlet in Omaha over Labor Day weekend, and thought I would share with you how I am using them!
This is my second bag from the Kate Spade Outlet (see my first one on my Instagram). Like most outlets stores nowadays, they are not blems or factory seconds like they used to be, but rather popular styles that have been reproduced. Which, honestly, is fine with me. I get so dirty at work (box dirt is the worst!) that I don’t want to have something too nice!

My first bag was saffiano leather and I knew I wanted my second bag to be the same. I also wanted a cross-body this time. Because of the awesome sale they were having (40% off plus 20% off – why does it have to be so confusing?) I was able to pick up both the bag and the wallet!

I have been using the bag since September 1st and I love everything about it. Everything I have fits perfectly an everything has a place. Everything is compartmentalized, just how I like it! My favorite lips glosses of the moment fit in the side pocket. My phone goes in the pocket right beside them. My meds (in the cute little pill box – thanks Kellie!) and my keys are the only thing that go in the zippered side pocket.

My wallet, sunglasses case (that the very sweet lady at the outlets gave me for free when I complained how big my Ann Taylor case was) and my makeup bag fit perfectly inside without sliding around.
Interestingly, I have a lot of stuff in my makeup bag, but not a lot of makeup!

First, my favorites that I cannot be without - Hair ties from LOFT, NailTek travel size crystal file, Nicole by OPI Cuticle Oil to Go*, Le Couvent des Minimes Gardener’s Hand Healer and Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle.

Next, wipes. I have all kinds of wipes. Eye wipes (it’s like eye drops… in a wipe!), body wipes (two scents!), nail polish removing wipes, santizing hand wipes, and lens wipes (for sunglasses and/or camera).
What would the world be without wipes?

Finally, I have sachets. Sample sizes are a godsend in an emergency. I have Embroylisse, two kinds of SPF, and Stevia in the Raw. Cause I don’t do the “pink stuff” or the “blue stuff” in my iced tea.

Have you noticed there are some essential “girl” items missing from my makeup bag? That’s right, my U by Kotex Ultra Thin Pads have their own Super Secret Stealth Pockets! Operation #SaveTheUndies is in full force in my purse, but I can hand my hubby my little bag of goodies so he can dig out a lens wipe without getting embarrassed that he has too see my secret girlie stuff.

The absolute best part about this bag are the super secret stealth pockets! My last bag had these pockets and now that I have lived with them, I don’t want to live without them! Every time I get a coupon in the mail or at the checkout, I just shove it in the zipper pocket. No more leaving coupons at home!

You can join the U by Kotex #SaveTheUndies movement too! Get your own free sample of the New U by Kotex Ultra Thin Pad with 3D Capture Core. What will you do with all the money you save when you #SaveTheUndies? With all the money I’ve saved from not having to buy new panties, I can use that money to continue my purse obsession... and buying black label OPI's on eBay!
