Nails Inc. Baker Street

Nothing to Disclose
Hello lovelies! It's bright and sunny in my part of the world today and nothing lifts the spirits quite like the promise of better weather in the coming weeks. I don't know any bloggers who consciously live by the nail color restrictions of changing seasons, but I always find myself more apt to paint my nails in vivid hues when the weather is warm and the sun is shining.

When I went searching in my Ikea Alex for a polish to wear I ended up settling on Nails Inc. Baker Street. The now famous blue is a must have in every collection, and I had yet to wear my bottle so I figured now was as good a day as any.

My swatch is two coats of Baker Street along with base and top coat. The formula was easy to control and didn't give me any issues, with cleanup being minimal. The formula is somewhere between a creme and a jelly. It has the opacity of a creme but with the squishy, shiny finished appearance of a jelly.

I color corrected the swatch as best I could to get closer to the actual color I see from nails to monitor, but in person it still has a periwinkle undertone that I couldn't capture.

Baker Street is a vibrant blue, bordering on neon. The first thing that came to mind when applying Baker Street was the infamous bright blue paint that Harriet the Spy was doused in.

I treasured that orange VHS tape like it was made of gold, and the blue paint scene is one of the main scenes of the movie so it's no surprise it's stuck with me all these years. Quick, someone grab me a yellow raincoat and marbled notebook so six year old me can finally live out her spy fantasies!

Have you worn this famous bright blue yet? Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading!
