NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in 47th Street and Rue Bonaparte

Hi :-)

Today I want to show you my two favorite eyeliners - NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliners in 47th Street (black with silver glitter) and Rue Bonaparte (nude).

from http://www.narscosmetics.eu/

Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner takes liner to the next level. Rich, creamy color that glides on smoothly with a completely budgeproof finish. Incomparable 12-hour wear with no smearing and no caking. Deeply dramatic shades named for the most iconic streets in the world.

I got my 47th Street about 10 month which I believe was limited edition because I can't find it online anymore:( Even though it's black with silver glitter, it still works perfect as an everyday eyeliner and doesn't make you look all glittery. I have to admit I thought that €25 is quite a lot for an eyeliner but since I couldn't find an eyeliner that wouldn't smudge on me so I decided to give it a whirl. On my oily eyelids without any primer it lasts about 10 hours. When applied on an eyeshadow (with primer) it lasts 17 hours (that'ts the longest I've worn it) without smudging or caking. It's very creamy quite soft but not too soft (I hate hard eyeliners!). The only thing I don't like about it is its built-in sharpener. I am quite (very) and I managed to smash it twice or even three times..

I was on the hunt for a nude eyeliner for my waterline and I found this NARS Rue Bonaparte eyeliner. I wanted to get a cheaper alternative (Rimmel Scandaleyes) eyeliner which is a little darker) but it was always sold out so I finally got the NARS one. My eyes are always red because of my allergies and this eyeliner is great for brightening my eyes and it also makes them look bigger. Again, I really appreciate its creamy soft formula because applying eyeliner on the waterline can be tough. This one stays (on my waterline!) 5-7 hours and my eyes are very watery so it's very impressive.
