Light, flexible and portable, they let the soil breathe, the water pass through and evaporation be reduced. Resistant to sun and frost they are perfect for terraces, balcony or small spaces near to the kitchen for easy picking. They have been developed by three French landscape specialists and are reputed to be five times more productive than the usual veg patch. Mind you I don't recommend the crazy idea in the first picture!
