2013 Family Advent Calendar

December is almost here which means it's time for our 5th annual family advent calendar. Every day from December 1st until December 25th, we have planned a Christmas related activity. Some are big, some are small, some are for the entire family while others just for Brad and I. Throughout the month, I will be sharing some of those activities and traditions and hope you stop by and do the same.

December 4 Decorating the mantle above the fireplace and entry way
December 5 Starting reading Christmas books before bedtime
December 6 Baking Christmas cookies with Jack
December 7 Breakfast with St. Nicholas with Jack's Mother's Day Out class
December 8 Enjoying a North Pole breakfast at home
December 9 Signing & mailing our Christmas cards
December 10 Finishing wrapping gifts
December 11 Buying white poinsettias
December 12 Making homemade s'mores hot chocolate & drinking it by our fireplace
December 13 Heading out of town for the weekend / visiting Santa
December 14 The Polar Express at Stone Mountain
December 15 Christmas party at Brad's parent's house with his extended family
December 16 Watching Santa Clause with Jack
December 17 Watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
December 18 Visting Lights of the South
December 19 Attending Jack's Christmas party at Mother's Day Out
December 20 Heading to our friend's annual Christmas party
December 21 Holiday craft day
December 22 Grocery shopping for our Christmas Eve dinner
December 23 Christmas party at Brad's grandmother's house
December 24 Christmas Eve dinner at home with my family
December 25 Christmas morning brunch with Brad's family at their lake house

*Not included in our calendar but a yearly tradition is to donating to charity through Brad's work
