Eden's 1st Birthday Party

They were just absolutely adorable! Thank you, Aly! You are always an amazing person to work with!!)

I can't believe I'm posting photos from our baby girl's first birthday party!
I know, I know, I say it all the time-- but where does the time go?!

We decided to do a laid back, family BBQ for Eden's birthday party. I did a color scheme of yellow, teal & coral, which I loved! I did a very subtle "beach" theme since we had a summer baby and incorporated the theme with sand castle toys, a candy bar with Swedish fish and other beach assorted candy, Goldfish, "seaweed" spinach dip and more. Both of our families flew out for her party and it was so wonderful to have both families and friends in one place to celebrate our sweet girl. Our incredible friends, Nick & Heather, hosted the party at their home, which is a perfect party house. All the kiddos enjoyed playing in the jumper, in the grass or in pool while the adults BBQ'd and enjoyed one another's company.

Eden wanted nothing to do with her cake, just like the photoshoot we did the night before. Instead of devouring it, she wanted to get out of the highchair and crawl all over the lawn. We were blessed with a beautiful summer rain storm for about 20 minutes during her party, and she had so much fun playing out in the rain puddles. I love our little free spirit! She is such a nature lover. The party was a success and I will admit that I had a blast putting it together but I am relieved it is over! A party and a move in the same month was way too much ;)

Happy birthday, sweet Eden Grace! You are loved beyond measure!

I wanted to thank the incredible company Signazon who provided our AMAZING banner that you see above! One of their customer service agents, Melissa, contacted me a few weeks before Eden's party and her timing could not have come at a more perfect time! She was an incredible pleasure to work with, assuring me of the product that was arriving and what to expect. Signazon doesn't just make banners-- they make business cards, stationary, decals, etc! I will definitely be using them moving forward for invitations and thank you cards! The banner I created was so easy to do! Simply choose a template, upload the photo and edit the product. The banner was large and the quality was superb. I'm super picky about what I review because I won't review something unless I'm passionate about it and I can say this about Signazon! I love Eden's little face in the banner and I am totally thinking about putting it up in her "big girl room" when we transition her out of the crib in the future! ;) Thank you, Signazon!!!
