Okay...so this floppy black hat from ASOS has been sitting in my room collecting dust for way too long! I just Googled it and found an old blog post about it, dating back to February 2012! I think I never wore it because the scalloped cut-outs all around the edges seemed too bold and out-there and I didn't know what to pair it with.
However in a strange way, even more cut outs and geometric patterns seemed to complement the hat in this outfit. I wore a new cropped top with a laser cut out scalloped hem from Dolly Girl Fashion, and one of my favourite pairs of shorts with fun aztec style prints!
Have you guys ever played around with laser cuts or a combination of cut-outs? I love how they instantly add detail and intricacies to any outfit!
