When I first received this scalloped skater skirt from YesStyle, I have to say I was a little stumped as to what to wear it with. Not because it's so difficult to pair with anything, but because there's too many options! A skater skirt in black is really one of the most versatile things ever and you can wear it with any T-shirt or blouse, knit, cardigan, stockings and socks...the choices are endless! To dress it up a little differently though and to tone down the girliness and flirtiness of the skirt, I wore an open denim shirt for a masculine and boxy touch.
Scalloped edges are on of my favourite hemlines, and I'm happy to add this to my collection of scalloped bags and clothes. YesStyle made this skirt even cuter with the perforations which seem to complement the scalloped design so perfectly, as well as with these scalloped laser-cut sunnies from Lookbookstore! I've been loving the look of sunglasses hanging off a tee lately, in lieu of a necklace. When the sunnies are as pretty as this pair, it makes sense (to me at least!) to wear them like jewellery! :)
