Uh-oh: Ugly Shoes Are Becoming a Thing

Let’s talk about shoes: The good, the bad, and the ugly. Actually no, let’s just talk about the ugly. And I mean U-G-L-Y. Did you know that the Olsen twins were recently spotted wearing socks and sandals (and not in a cute way)? And what about those knee-high gladiators? Eww!

When it comes to the Olsen’s, they are extremely talented designers and two of the most stylish women in the world. So in all honesty, I was beyond shocked when I saw the image above. But let me defend Mary-Kate and Ashley for a second. Birkenstocks are extremely good for your feet! Way to go for wearing shoes with support. But with socks? Just no.

And those gladiators? I have mixed feelings. Vanessa Hudgens wore a pair while walking around Los Angeles last year, and she looked okay. If I wore them, it would not be a pretty site. I’m also not into spending 20 minutes putting on shoes — my makeup routine takes up too much time as it is.
