Chocolate Peanut Butter lovers will love these Chocolate Peanut Butter Butterfinger Cookies! Chewy peanut butter cookies topped with peanut butter fudge frosting and chopped Butterfinger bars — yum!
So I have recently started working out, and I have to say that it’s the worst thing ever.
Awhile back my husband and I looked into joining a gym, until I realized that I’d just go there and do the treadmill, and I refuse to pay someone to let me walk. Walking is one of those things that no one should have to pay for, like new tires and mattresses.
All that stuff should just be free, because seriously. No one even notices new tires. You pay all this money and nothing really even happens. Dumb.
Then one of my friends told me she was signing up for a workout CLASS, where they basically make you spend an hour doing a combination of all sorts of horrible things like sit ups and running and weight lifting and squatting. So I decided to try that because apparently I am the world’s biggest moron.
It’s awful. Seriously, awful. After the first day, my legs hurt so bad I could hardly bend over. Lucy is in that phase where she wants to be held all day, and every time I squatted down to pick her 25 pound self up, a piece of me died inside.
I always said that I’m allergic to sweat, but it turns out that I just dislike it very strongly. I don’t even know that it’s possible to be allergic to sweat, but I’ve found that when you dislike things you can just say you are allergic and people leave you alone. Honestly, I am pretty sure that most people who are “allergic” to cats are nothing but liars.
Also when you are warming the park bench and your kids want you to go down the slide and you say, “Honey I’d love to, but I’ve got to take it easy because I’m allergic to sweat,” they don’t ask you anymore.
At least, that’s what I’ve heard. I would never actually do such a thing, obviously.
At the end of every class the instructor reminds us not to go home and eat bad because we will “undo everything you just did”. And I’m always thinking, that’s weird because I thought I was here to undo what I eat? Isn’t the point of working out to justify the consumption of bad foods?
No?
Regardless, cookies are still happening. Because I can only accept so much punishment in my life.
These cookies are pretty dang fabulous — chewy peanut butter cookies topped with peanut butter fudge frosting and chopped Butterfinger bars.
Not to be bossy, but you need a few (dozen) in your life!
