Happy Thoughts for Thursday

Today is Thursday! That's a happy thought. Time is flying!
Job. I still like my job. Today is my one month marker. Coincidently, it's also the quarterly staff meeting, which means we stop working after half a day to go to the park and barbecue. I think I like this company.
Cactus. I bought a mini catcus on the 2nd day of work. It's not so mini any more. This just goes to show how much of a city person I am- I bought a plant and was completely floored when it grew. I had to repot it because it was bursting out of the one it came in. It's now at work, and about 4 times the size it was when I started working. I'm excited to see how much more it will grow as I continue to work there.
Español. Yesterday I spoke only spanish for about 5 hours. After a month of being surrounded by spanish speakers, I'm starting to catch on to the accent, and to understand things more clearly. I have a running list of vocabulary words that I'm investigating, and an office full of people willing to help if I'm confused or don't understand. It's such a good feeling.
Cake. There are currently 3 types of cake in my house. I choose to think of this as a happy thought.
Tea. I keep tea in my office, and it's been a lifesaver this week. Yum.
