Hallie @ Among Other Things

Practically PJ’s

Hallie here — reporting back following our first official weekend a la the unofficial Summer of Yes.

I said yes to a few things this weekend. A few too many things. Like lemon-flavored beer, for starters.

Yesterday, a casual 30 of us took a par-tay bus to the beach for a friend’s birthday. Road pops were the name of the game, my friends — and, well, the rest is history.

Or not, technically. You know.

I unfortunately said yes to a series of sloppy SPF applications, which has left my right calf with splotchy trail of tender pink skin.

Ah, well. LIVIN’! How ’bout you?

Monday’s ensemble is the closest thing to pajamas that you can possibly get away with in a semi-corporate environment. Heaven!

Have you heard of Lyssé? I have a pair of their skinny pants, which I lived in during pants-appropriate weather. (We talked about that last week.)

Today’s pajama-worthy white tee is Lyssé, too. It’s made from their super-soft custom fabric and has a signature liner, which smoothes away lines (and compresses those bagel sins, if you know what I mean). It’s a bit longer in length, so it’ll be a perfect partner to leggings and a front-runner in my closet for months to come.

Lastly, these are the perfect airplane pants I’ve been raving about. If I could wear them every day (and no one would notice), I would.

Now, a big fat Y-E-S to a second cup of coffee and a bacon egg and cheese, please.

*Wearing: white t-shirt c/o Lyssé, draped pants via Zappos, CoSTUME NATIONAL mule wedges, 3.1 Phillip Lim medium Pashli satchel, Loren Hope Sarra cuff, Michael Kors crystal watch
