Mood Board, Vol. 12 | August 2014

Living in New York City has turned me into a minimalist, oddly enough, which has been reflected in my shopping habits this season.

Here’s a bit about what’s on my radar (and in my closet) as of late:

For me, embracing August is all about freshening up a few of the cult classics (like my favorite striped shirt, a graphic tee and denim shorts) by pairing them with more modern elements. Recently, that’s been these draped trousers and blush-toned loafers.

I’m holding on to summer for as long as I can, but I’m easing the transition of fall’s trends in the form of neutral knits, simple shoes and no-fuss jewelry. With this month already full-team ahead, clean-lined silhouettes with an element of functionality are key.
